So the weekend of July 4-6 we had three different rodoes we went to. First day was Ceres for a $2,000 added barrel race where I once again ran my little baby, Boyka, and we had a pretty good run.... but fell out of the money by only a few =[ Saturday we went to the NorCal Jr. Rodeo in Clements where I won 4th in poles, and didn't have a very good barrel run, but nonetheless won a small little check there. Then on Sunday we went BACK to Ceres to run again in a $2,000 added barrel race where an exciting thing happened!! lol We actually won a check!! It's been a while so it was pretty exciting, we ended up winning $230 which paid for the entry fees for the weekend and then a little bit.
So, as your probably thinking, I'm a little behind on this update... but we finally kicked it into high gear on this moving business and are just about moved into our new home, which is really nice!! We have been out riding until like 9:30 every night and getting ourselves adjusted to the new place.
O yes, forgot to mention... The Norcal Jr. Rodeo has a point system and the top ten go to the finals in september and at the moment i am sitting 11th in barrels and 12th in pole bending =] just thought i'd add that in there. King City Finals

SO i just got back from King City for the BRN4D finals wich was super fun. It started off not so great when we pulled my horse outta the trailer and he had decided that within the 3 1/2 hour ride down there he was going to become destructive and beat the.... s*** out of the trailer which was a big no no, he's a bad horsey. We had to end up duck taping the thing back together but it held on the way home so thats good. So it was a 3 day barrel race with $4,000 added friday and saturday and $9,000 added today (sunday) with 4 trailers they were giving away in the average and a bunch of money and what not. Just so you get a general gist of how much these girls were winning the winner of the 1D won over $900 in one day! I was sadly not fortunate enough to land in the money on friday or saturday. But we had really nice runs, so i was happy. On friday we ran a 17.5 and on saturday we ran a 17.4 and then today we ran a 17.5 again! which we deffinately could have done better but they were nice there is room for improvement. We left early today so I'm not sure whether or not we won some money or won something in the average but we will surely find out soon enough they weren't even half way thru when we left so it's probably still going on. But overall a good weekend it was a lot of fun and my horsey is doing amazing now that we got him worked on with this nifty little machine that sends sounds waves through his body and got him on some supplements. He's is doing absolutly amazing and running faster then ever so now I gotta catch up to him he's moving faster then I can keep up now!

Livermore Jr. Rodeo

So this past weekend was the Livermore Jr. Rodeo and finally Boyka and I had runs that were decent. We took 5th in both Barrel Racing and pole bending and I think we got a couple checks from it too, but we left early so who knows, we will find out on the July 5th in Clements!

Family Day in San Jose

So pretty much, it had been years since everyone had gotten together. Everyone had crossed paths here and there but never had all of us been in the same room together, including the new additions to the family. Which really are not all that new, I guess I just happened to fall out of the loop somewhere along the line, but now not so much. June 14, although that may have been a little over a week ago we all finally got together. They may all be cousins but growing up they were and still are more like sibilings. Krisitina and her hubby Josh with their gorgeous little boy Dylan (who just for the record does not like you touching his shoes those are his!) and her nice little baby bump goin' on. Also there was Carmen and Brett who are absolutly amazing. Mr. Brian Cobabe and his amazingly gorgeous wife Karin were there and I can't even put into words how great it was to see Brian after, I don't even know how many years! Along with Jason who also has his beautiful wife Jenette (sorry if i spelled it wrong!) It had been so long since seeing all of them I can't even begin to explain how amazing and how excited i was to see everyone.
